Today, March 20, 2025, is Free Cone Day at Dairy Queen. It also happens to be the first day of spring. Customers can get a free small vanilla soft-serve cone with the famous DQ curl on top at participating sites across the country. Fans love this practice as a way to celebrate the start of the season.

To make the day even better, Dairy Queen is giving away free cones with a $1 dip. All the money raised will go to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Customers can treat themselves while also helping a good cause through this project.

Fans of DQ can also join a contest through the DQ app for a chance to win free cones for a year. People who sign up for DQ Rewards by March 19 are automatically put into the draw, which makes the party even more fun.

Remember that each person can only get one free cone, and the deal is only good while supplies last. Delivery or mobile orders are not eligible for the deal, so make sure you go to a local Dairy Queen in person to get your free treat.
