Officially, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have entered the next stage in their relationship. Using an Instagram carousel, the 32-year-old singer-actress and the 36-year-old music producer revealed the happy news of their engagement on Wednesday, December 11.

Gomez’s post included a close-up of her gorgeous engagement diamond and unguarded images of the couple celebrating with warmth and laughter. Gomez accompanying the written post said, “Forever begins now…” Blanco offered his light-hearted comment, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”

A Love Story Years in the Making

The romantic story of Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco began long before their affair. The duo first collaborated on the 2019 single “I Can’t Get Enough” alongside Tainy and J Balvin. Their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship in June 2023.

Gomez’s August 2023 Blanco-produced single “Single Soon,” which generated rumours of their relationship, Selena Gomez declared, “He is my absolute everything in my heart,” in a comment on fan posts, so confirming their relationship by December of that year.
