Dallas Rapper Yella Beezy Arrested for Alleged Involvement in Mo3’s Murder​

Markies Deandre Conway, better known as Yella Beezy, a rapper from Dallas, has been caught and charged with capital murder in connection with the death of Mo3 on April 30, 2020. The police say that Yella Beezy planned the murder and hired Kewon Dontrell White to do the shooting. On November 11, 2020, Mo3 was going north on Interstate 35E near Illinois Avenue in Dallas when the accident took place. White, the man with the gun, chased Mo3 on foot after he tried to get out of his car.

Mo3 was shot several times and was declared dead at a nearby hospital. After a month, White was caught and charged with murder. He is currently in jail for nine years on charges related to the killing that he used a gun. ​

With his 2017 hit song “That’s On Me,” which peaked on the Billboard Hot 100, he gained national recognition. Since it clarifies the possible involvement of well-known Dallas rap scene members, his arrest marks a significant advancement in the inquiry into the killing of Mo3.

As of Thursday night, Yella Beezy is still housed in the Dallas County Jail; no bond has been assigned.
